Crayon colors hat

I have been toting this little hat around with me on the bus for weeks, finally finished it today:

Pattern: own (cast on a multiple of 6 minus 1 to create a spiral while working 3×3 ribbing)
Yarn: Wolle Roedel Universal Superwash, 100% merino wool, color 2284
Needles: size 3
Size: 13″ around x 6″ tall = toddler

We had a houseguest this weekend and I did not knit at all, so not much to write about knitting-wise. Sunday we watched the highly entertaining Bay to Breakers walk/run. I don’t recall seeing any participants knitting. Hmm… might be an idea for me if I decide to participate one day, although the copious quantities of beer will certainly prevent me from doing anything too impressive.
